U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone visits Artakh

Congressional Armenian Caucus Co-Chair, Rep. Frank Pallone has arrived in Artsakh.

The Congressman is expected to meet government officials to explore ways to strengthen U.S.-Artsakh ties, review U.S. funded projects, and explore new ways to help the fledgling democracy.

Rep. Pallone holds the record for the number of Congressional visits to Artsakh. He has been a champion of U.S. assistance to Artsakh and has introduced legislation – the Artsakh Travel and Communication Act (H.Res.190) – which seeks to remove barriers to stronger U.S.-Artsakh ties.

Just days prior to his arrival in Artsakh, Reps. Frank Pallone, Jackie Spier and Adam Schiff, in a letter to U.S. Secretaries of Defense and State, called for the “immediate halt of military aid to Azerbaijan.”
