Vaghaeshapat (Etchmiadizn) Mayor Karen Grigoryan has resigned. He revealed the news on Facebbok, and added that he’s stepping down on his “own will.”
On June 17 Grigoryan declared after a meeting with Armavir Governor Gagik Mirijanyan that we would retain the post.
The decision follows his father, MP Manvel Grigoryan’s detention on suspicion of illegal weapon charges.
