Private of the Artsakh Defense Army Harutyun Khachatryan died of a gunshot wound, when on duty at one of the military units in the northern direction.
The Artsakh Defense Ministry said in a statement the incident took place at about 01:15 “under unknown circumstances.”
Investigation into the details of the case is under way.
The Ministry said it shares the sorrow of the heavy loss and expressed condolences to the soldier’s family and friends.
