A bill on penalizing the denial of genocide has been introduced in the Cyprus Parliament, Turkish Hurriyet reports.
The bill presented jointly by all political parties represented in the Cyprus Parliament envisages sanctions for denying genocides and crimes against humanity.
The bill is timed for the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The bill is expected to be on the agenda this week.
