On 16 November Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, NKR President’s Press Office reported.
Issues related to the situation along the contact line between the NKR and Azerbaijan armed forces were discussed during the meeting.
Touching upon the incident of shooting down the Defense Army’s helicopter conducting training flights, the President called Azerbaijan’s actions villain and destructive.
The President noted that the Azerbaijani behavior endangers the maintenance of stability and peace in the region and creates serious hindrances for the OSCE mediatory efforts.
Bako Sahakyan highlighted the necessity of strict and addressed evaluation of the incident by the international community, pointing out at the same time that such provocative actions of Azerbaijan would not remain without response.
