President Serzh Sargsyan received OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Pierre Andrieu (France), Assistant to the US Co-Chair David Salvoy and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman in Office Abdrzej Kasprzyk.
Issues related to the current stage of negotiations on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, the forthcoming meeting of the Presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and France were discussed at the meeting.
Reference was made to problems not conductive to the negotiation process. In this context President Sargsyan said Azerbaijan’s approach of destabilizing the situation ahead of high-level talks is worrisome.
President Sargsyan reiterated Armenia’s willingness to continue to work with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
