Armenian MP in Cyprus Parliament urges to end injustice in Kessab

The Representative of the Armenian Community in the Cyprus Parliament,Vartkes Mahdessian, has sent out letters of protest condemning the recent attacks on the historically Armenian city of Kessab in Syria, urging the United Nations and the European Parliament to take immediate action to safeguard the predominantly Armenian population of Kessab, Gibrahayer Magazine reported.

Furthermore the letter states that these provocations against civilians are a clear violation of international law and human rights and urges these organisations to intervene immediately to end further suffering and injustice.
