An event commemorating the 26th anniversary of the Sumgait massacre was held on February 26 at the cross-stone in one of the central squares of Brussels erected in memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
Attending the ceremony were Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Armenian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium Avet Adonts, the Head of Armenia’s Mission to NATO Armen Yedigaryan, representatives of the Armenian community.
The participants laid a wreath at the monument in memory of the innocent victims of this vicious crime.
