“This villainous crime is targeted not only against presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan, but also against our statehood,” Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan told reporters after he visited Paruyr Hayrikyan at St. Gregory the Illuminator Hospital.
The President said “it’s obvious that those who stand behind this crime intended to frustrate the normal election process.”
