An Armenian killed, church damaged in Damascus attack

The Armenian St. Sarkis Church in Damascus was damaged as a result of an attack in Syria’s capital, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on its Facebook page

“The walls of Armenia’s St. Sarkis Church and an Armenian school were damaged as a result of the yesterday’s explosion,” the ministry said.

An Armenian national Hakob Sargsyan was killed, several others were wounded in the attack.
