As part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of Sergei Parajanov, the film director’s statue (sculptor: Ara Alekyan) will be installed in the area adjacent to the Cinema House.
For the 100th anniversary of the film director, screenwriter, people’s artist of the ASSR, Sergei Parajanov, a governmental committee has been set up under the chairmanship of the chief of staff of the RA Prime Minister Araik Harutyunyan.
Parajanov’s 100th anniversary is included in the UNESCO list of events.
