Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the OSCE Mink Group Co-Chairs, Robert Bradtke of the United States, Igor Popov of the Russian Federation and Jacques Faure ofFrance, and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.
During the meeting Minister Nalbandian called the attention of the Co-Chairs to the provocative statements made by the Azerbaijani leadership, noting that although they are meant for domestic audience, they cause serious harm to the negotiation process and aggravate the situation in the region.
The Co-Chairs briefed the Armenian Foreign Minister on the results of the meeting with the NKR President in Stepanakert and their suggestions aimed at relieving the tension at the line of contact.
The interlocutors discussed the possibility of the meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers in December on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial in Dublin.
