French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Armenia in October 2018, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, Jonathan Lacôte has confirmed.
President Macron will attend the 17th Summit of La Francophonie in Yerevan.
“The visit will also offer a great opportunity to strengthen ties between France and Armenia,” Ambassador Lacôte said in a Twitter in comments to an earlier report by Public Radio of Armenia.

The 16th summit of the International Organisation of La Francophonie held in Antananarivo unanimously decided to hold the 17th Summit of La Francophonie in Armenia in 2018.
