European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos will travel to Armenia on July 5 to advance concrete measures aimed at deepening cooperation between Yerevan and the European Union, she announced on X following talks with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

“Russia continues to intensify pressure on Armenia, trying to influence the country away from the democratic choice made by its people in the last elections,” Kos stated.

“I met Foreign Minister AraratMirzoyan ahead of tomorrow’s Foreign Affairs Council, where we will discuss with Member States how the EU can continue supporting Armenia, showing our solidarity,” she added.
