
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a condolence message to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, following casualties among Iran’s leadership and citizens.
In his message, Pashinyan said Armenia is “deeply concerned” about the ongoing developments surrounding Iran and expressed sympathy over the loss of lives.
“Please accept my condolences on the casualties recorded among the leadership and citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the Armenian prime minister stated.
Pashinyan also highlighted the role of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in strengthening Armenia-Iran relations, noting that his personal contribution to the development of bilateral ties will always be remembered.
“At this difficult moment, we hope for the swift establishment of peace and stability in the Middle East,” the message read.
The Armenian prime minister concluded by wishing President Pezeshkian strength and patience, and extended his wishes for peace and resilience to the friendly and neighboring people of Iran.
