On May 26, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, departed for Bern (Switzerland) to participate in the international conference “Religious Freedom: Preservation of the Armenian Spiritual, Cultural and Historical Heritage in Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh,” organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Swiss Protestant Church. His Holiness will deliver his message to the participants.
His Holiness’ delegation includes His Eminence Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Great Britain and Ireland; His Eminence Bishop Partev Barseghyan, Primate of the Diocese of Gegharkunik; and His Eminence Bishop Garegin Hambardzumyan, Director of the Department for Inter-Church Relations of the Mother See.
