Sefilian urges high voter turnout, says strong participation challenges incumbent authorities

Zhirayr Sefilian, a member of the council of the National Democratic Pole party, underscored the importance of high voter turnout during Armenia’s parliamentary elections, speaking to reporters after casting his ballot.

Sefilian called on citizens to actively participate in the vote, stressing that the coming hours would be crucial for the electoral process.

“I attach great importance to the next few hours and call on the people to take part in the elections. The higher the turnout, the more difficult it will be for the current authorities,” he said.

The National Democratic Pole leader also stated that he had cast his vote in support of what he described as future national authorities and the creation of a strong Armenia.

Armenians are voting today in the country’s parliamentary elections, with 18 political forces competing for seats in the National Assembly.
