The Eagle Partner 2026 joint military exercise has officially begun in Armenia and will run from June 17 to June 25, according to the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan.

Now in its fourth year, the exercise builds on longstanding defense cooperation between Armenia and the United States and is aimed at enhancing preparedness for international peacekeeping operations.

This year’s drills bring together personnel from the Armenian Armed Forces Peacekeeping Brigade, U.S. Army Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard. For the first time, service members from the Armed Forces of France and the Hellenic Republic are also participating, expanding the multinational character of the exercise.

According to the U.S. Embassy, Eagle Partner 2026 focuses on strengthening interoperability among participating forces, facilitating the exchange of best practices, and improving readiness for peacekeeping missions.
