President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and US Congressman Abraham Hamadeh discussed the role of the TRIPP route and prospects for enhanced regional connectivity during a meeting in Baku on June 17.
According to the Azerbaijani presidential press service, the sides exchanged views on efforts to deepen the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States, highlighting the importance both countries attach to expanding bilateral cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the opportunities created by the TRIPP project for strengthening regional transport links and promoting economic cooperation. The two sides also emphasized the contribution of US President Donald Trump to advancing the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan, noting that progress in regional stability could unlock new connectivity and trade opportunities.
