Preliminary results from 110 polling stations show Civil Contract in the lead

Preliminary results released by Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) from 110 polling stations indicate that the ruling Civil Contract party has taken an early lead in the parliamentary elections.

The preliminary vote count from the 110 polling stations is as follows:

  • Civil Contract Party — 57.14%
  • Strong Armenia Alliance — 21.43%
  • Armenia Alliance — 8.21%
  • Prosperous Armenia Party — 5.10%
  • Wings of Unity Party — 2.52%
  • Democracy, Law and Discipline Party — 1.19%
  • Meritocratic Party of Armenia — 0.97%
  • “I Am Against Everyone” Democratic Party — 0.86%
  • New Force Reformist Party — 0.58%
  • Republic Party — 0.49%
  • Bright Armenia Party — 0.45%
  • Alliance for the Protection of Democracy of the Republic — 0.23%
  • Democratic Consolidation Party — 0.21%
  • National Democratic Pole Pan-Armenian Party — 0.18%
  • Armenian National Congress — 0.15%
  • Reformists Party — 0.11%
  • Christian Democratic Party — 0.10%
  • Kochari National Revival and National Awakening Party — 0.09%

The CEC data show that 19,654 voters participated in the election at the reported polling stations, while 241 ballots were declared invalid.

Vote counting continues across the country, and the results remain preliminary pending the completion of the nationwide tally.
