Arman Tatoyan, the prime ministerial candidate of the Wings of Unity party, cast his ballot at polling station No. 7/50 and described Armenia’s parliamentary elections as a historic moment for the country.
“These elections are truly of historic significance. Today, we are deciding our future. We are deciding what kind of country our children will live in,” Tatoyan told reporters following the vote.
According to Tatoyan, the greatest danger would be to miss the opportunity for change.
“I do not want these elections to become a missed opportunity for us, because this concerns each and every one of us, and especially our young people,” he said.
Tatoyan urged young citizens to take part in the vote, stressing that active civic participation is essential for building a secure state, ensuring modern education and creating well-paid jobs.
“I ask citizens to consider who can truly govern the country, who understands the state, who has a clear vision of what public administration means, and who has proven in difficult times that they can stand by the people,” Tatoyan said.
