The Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative District ruled today to sentence former presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakyan to 14 years of imprisonment on accusation of organizing the assassination attempt on another presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakyan.
Khachatur Poghosyan and Samvel Harutyunyan were sentenced to 14 and 12 years in prison respectively.
The verdict will be appealed to a higher court, Sedrakyan’s lawyer Alexander Surunyan told Pastinfo agency.
