Merited actor of theatre and cinema, USSR People’s Artist Vladimir Abajyan passed away today aged 86, the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre informs.
Vladimir Abajyan was born in 1927 in Armenia’s city of Gyumri. He graduated from Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography and took a job in Sundukyan State Academic Theatre of Yerevan in 1951. Abajyan was honored with Movses Khorenatsi Medal in 1998.
