Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said he will travel to Baku to attend the European Political Community (EPC) Summit if he receives an invitation.
Speaking during a question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly, Pashinyan stated that he is prepared to participate in the summit scheduled to be held in the Azerbaijani capital in 2029.
“I have already said that in 2029, if there is an invitation to the European Political Community Summit, I am saying from now that I will go to Baku,” Pashinyan said.
The remarks came in response to questions from lawmakers during the parliamentary session and signal the Armenian premier’s willingness to attend a major European political gathering hosted by Azerbaijan if formally invited.
