President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of the ruling Civil Contract party in Armenia’s parliamentary elections.
In a message shared on social media, Metsola extended her congratulations to Pashinyan following the national vote and expressed support for further strengthening ties between Armenia and the European Union.
“Congratulations Nikol Pashinyan on the victory in Armenia’s national elections,” Metsola wrote.
The European Parliament president emphasized the importance of building on the momentum created by the election outcome to deepen cooperation between Brussels and Yerevan.
“Let us continue building on this renewed momentum to strengthen EU-Armenia relations,” she said.
