AI Conf Armenia 2026, the country’s largest conference dedicated to artificial intelligence, will take place on April 18 in Yerevan, bringing together leading experts, scientists, business leaders, and AI enthusiasts for the fourth consecutive year.
The official countdown to the event was launched following the organizing committee’s final meeting held today. Marking a long-standing tradition in Armenia’s tech community, committee leaders — Yerevan State University Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) CEO Sargis Karapetyan, Krisp CEO Artavazd Minasyan, YerevaNN Director Hrant Khachatryan, and YSU Vice-Rector Rafael Barkhudaryan — signed the first official poster of AI Conf Armenia 2026.
Held at Yerevan State University, the conference will focus on the major breakthroughs achieved in Armenia’s AI sector over the past year. The agenda features more than 20 prominent speakers representing both the public and private sectors.
Among the keynote speakers is Rev Lebaredian, Vice President at NVIDIA (Omniverse and Simulation Technologies), who will travel from the United States to deliver a talk titled “AI Agents and the Token Economy.” NVIDIA is widely regarded as one of the world’s most advanced AI companies and is currently the most valuable publicly traded company globally.
Another featured speaker is Armen Aghajanyan, founder of Perceptron, who will present “The Armenian Doctrine of Artificial Intelligence.”
As in previous years, participation in the conference is free of charge, with organizers expecting a record attendance of around 2,000 participants. The main hall will host young scientists, students, tech entrepreneurs, and all those interested in shaping Armenia’s AI future.
In recent years, Armenia has experienced rapid growth in supercomputing capacity and GPU infrastructure. If current investment programs continue successfully, the country could rank among the world’s top 10 in total computing power as early as next year. AI Conf Armenia 2026 aims to reflect on this momentum and explore how it can best contribute to national development.
The conference is organized by Yerevan State University, YerevaNN, Krisp, and the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises.
