Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has extended congratulations to Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz on the occasion of Germany’s national holiday, Unity Day.
In his message, Pashinyan warmly congratulated Chancellor Merz and the people of Germany, noting that the day is an important occasion to reflect on Germany’s achievements and its steadfast commitment to democratic values and human rights.
The Prime Minister highlighted the friendly relations and effective cooperation between Armenia and Germany, both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks. He recalled his meeting with Chancellor Merz earlier this year on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit, expressing confidence that joint efforts will further strengthen multifaceted cooperation for the benefit of both nations.
Pashinyan also emphasized Armenia’s appreciation for Germany’s continued support for the country’s democratic reforms, sustainable development, and deepening partnership with the European Union.
Concluding his message, the Armenian Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes for Chancellor Merz’s health and success, and peace and prosperity for the German people.
