Israel’s military says it hit hundreds of sites in Gaza over the past 24 hours, targeting “Hamas infrastructure,” the BBC reports.
As its air campaign shows no sign of ending, it says anti-tank missile launch sites, tunnels, and headquarters were destroyed.
Gaza remains under siege, with Israel blocking cross-border supplies of water, electricity, and fuel.
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has arrived in Israel, a day after Joe Biden visited.
Upon arrival in Israel, Rishi Sunak told reporters at Tel Aviv airport that the Hamas attacks on 7 October were an “unspeakable, horrific act of terrorism”, and he reiterated that the UK stands with Israel.
“I’m very much looking forward to my meetings later with the prime minister and president and I very much hope they’ll be productive meetings,” Sunak said.
