Armenia captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan has said he’s happy for Roma’s Europa League group stage place.
“Last night we showed character and ambition, it wasn’t an easy match, but we had to win it. I am happy we managed to secure our place for Europa League’s group stage next season,” Mkhitaryan said in a Twitter post.
Roma clinched fifth place in Serie A with a nerve-jangling 3-2 victory over Torino on Wednesday evening.
