At least six have been confirmed dead in a 6.4 magnitude earthquake that struck Albania at 06:54 am this morning.
According to the Armenian National Survey for Seismic Protection, the quake hit the port city of Durres, 33 kilometers from the capital, Tirana.
The Healath Ministry says some 300 injured people have already been treated in Durres, Tirana and Thumane, with more arriving.
