Kim Kardashian shares new pictures of North’s traditional baptism in Armenian church in Jerusalem
Kim Kardashian has shared intimate pictures of her daughter North’s baptism in Jerusalem.
Adorable little Nori was baptised in a very traditional ceremony earlier this year and reality star Kim has now shared some special moments from the trip.
New pictures show proud mum Kim dressed in a white lace headscarf and a conservative floor-length skirt.
It looks like all the excitement got a little too much for North, who slept the whole way through.
Kim, who is pregnant with her second child, wrote on Twitter: “Baptizing North in Jerusalem in an Armenian church with our new baby in my belly was so special.”
Alongside a picture of North resting on her shoulder, she wrote: “Sleeping beauty.”
The reality star opened up about the ceremony which happened at a 12th-century Armenian Apostolic Church during a trip to Jerusalem in April.
Kim told People magazine: “It was such a beautiful experience for my family to have North baptized in Jerusalem.”
She added: “Kanye and I are so thankful.”
Crowds of fans gathered outside but the famous family remained quiet during the peaceful ceremony.
During the hour-long service, which was performed in both Armenian and English, holy water was poured over North’s head and she was given a cross by the church.
