Legenday American boxer Mike Tyson will become a member of the Union of Russian Writers, a sports promoter said on Wednesday.
Tyson’s membership will be officially announced on October 27 when his memoir book Undisputed Truth will be presented in Moscow, Vladimir Khryunov told TASS.
Tyson will visit Moscow in November to attend a boxing event, he added.
Tyson, 48, is a former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles. He ended his professional career in 2005.
