Armenian Prime Minister’s visit to the US postponed at the request of the American side

The American side has asked Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan to postpone his visit to the United States.

“The Armenian Prime Minister was to visit Washington September 9-13. However, the visit has been postponed at the request of the American side connected with the suspension of financing for US government agencies,” Armenian Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Harutyun Berberyan told Interfax.

PM Tigran Sargsyan was scheduled to participate in the meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, as well as the sitting of the US-Armenia Economic Task Force.

According to Berberyan, Armenia will be represented at the events by the Head of Government Staff, Minister Vache Gabrielyan.
