
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolences to his Georgian counterpart Bidzina Ivanishvili on the death of Georgian peacekeepers in Afghanistan. The telegram reads, in part:
“Your excellency,
On behalf of the Armenian Government and on my own behalf, I extend condolences on the death of Georgian servicemen as a result of an act of terrorism in Afghanistan.
I strongly condemn any expression of intolerance and terrorism and share the sorrow of the friendly people of Georgia.”
