Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of the ruling Civil Contract Party in Armenia’s parliamentary elections.
In a message posted on social media, Modi described the result as an “impressive victory” and said the renewed mandate reflected the Armenian people’s continued confidence in Pashinyan’s leadership.
“The renewed mandate reflects the enduring trust and confidence of the people of Armenia in your leadership and vision,” Modi wrote.
The Indian prime minister also expressed his readiness to continue working closely with Pashinyan to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
“I look forward to working closely with you to further deepen the warm and historic ties of friendship and cooperation between India and Armenia,” he said.
