
Narek Karapetyan, the leader of the electoral list of the Strong Armenia Alliance, has said he will make a comprehensive statement on the results of Armenia’s parliamentary elections once all vote-counting procedures have been completed.
In a post on Facebook, Karapetyan indicated that he would comment in greater detail after the final calculations and tabulation of the election results.
The Strong Armenia Alliance emerged as the second-largest political force in the parliamentary elections, according to preliminary results released by Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission.
Karapetyan also expressed gratitude to the alliance’s members, supporters, and voters for their participation and backing throughout the campaign.
The Strong Armenia Alliance secured 340,088 votes, or 23.28%, according to preliminary results announced by the Central Electoral Commission, positioning the bloc as the largest opposition force in the new parliament.
