Armenia has won two prestigious awards at the PATWA Awards held within the framework of ITB Berlin 2026.
Armenia was named “Destination of the Year – Natural Attractions,” while Lusine Gevorgyan received the award for “Excellence in Governance Destination Management (Caucasus).”
The awards were presented by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA), an international non-profit organization that promotes the sustainable development of tourism, hospitality, transportation and travel worldwide.
The recognition highlights Armenia’s rich natural attractions and acknowledges the country’s ongoing efforts to develop and promote sustainable tourism.
