Armenian singer Saro Gevorgyan has reached the grand finale of Silk Way Star, the first Asian vocal mega-project uniting performers from 12 countries, Kazinform International News Agency reports.

Standing out from the very first episode, he quickly became one of the season’s strongest contenders.

Throughout the competition, Gevorgyan showcased his versatility with performances ranging from Wicked Stranger and It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World to Armenian and Central Asian folk classics. His interpretations of Es Kulam, Menin Mahabbatym, Bor, and the Kazakh folk song Kozinin moldirin-ai earned praise for vocal power, artistry, and emotional depth.

In the semifinals, he performed the Armenian song Siro Nver in a duet with Kazakhstan’s Honored Artist Marzhan Arapbayeva, securing his place among the top finalists.
