Armenia’s Ambassador to India, Vahagn Afyan, met with Vishwesh Negi, the Joint Secretary of International Cooperation at the Indian Ministry of Defense. The latter welcomed the important mission already undertaken by Armenia’s Defense Attaché to India, Colonel Arkadi Tonoyan.
The discussions focused on implementing the agreements reached during the meeting of the Defense Ministers of the two countries, organizing reciprocal visits, ensuring the continuity of defense consultations between the two ministries, and developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
The meeting also addressed regional developments, particularly Armenia’s commitment to the peace agenda and the direction for deepening bilateral friendly cooperation.
