The Armenian Ministry of Defense has officially denied media and social media claims suggesting that a military position near the town of Jermuk has been captured.
In response to press inquiries, the Ministry clarified that the circulating reports do not reflect the truth and urged the public and media outlets to refrain from spreading false or misleading information.
“These claims are untrue. The Ministry of Defense has refuted them immediately in response to the first media inquiries,” the Defense Ministry’s Press Secretary Aram Torosyan said in a statement.
