Former Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan has been arrested as part of a criminal investigation led by Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee. The Committee confirmed the news to Public Radio of Armenia.
Abrahamyan is suspected of money laundering, abuse of official authority, and unlawful involvement in entrepreneurial activities.
The investigation is ongoing.
