Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia Li Xinwei.
During the meeting, steps and upcoming programs aimed at expanding bilateral partnership between Armenia and China were discussed. “Armenia and China are currently at a stage of significant development of relations, both in terms of high-level political dialogue and cooperation in economic and other areas, and I attach great importance to the maximum realization of existing opportunities,” Minister Mirzoyan emphasized.
Issues of cooperation on various international platforms were touched upon.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on international and regional developments, emphasizing the importance of developing mutually beneficial partnerships in the current period of uncertainties, but at the same time full of opportunities.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Li Xinwei discussed issues related to the development of a regional communications network, in the context of which the interest in the “Crossroads of Peace” program developed by the Armenian Government was noted.
