David Arushanyan has been appointed Shirak Governor. The decision was made at the government sitting today.
Arushanyan expressed gratitude for trust, adding that the post is a “great responsibility and honor.”
“I am confident that with the efforts of all of us and the efforts of our Shirak Province team, we will succeed,” said Arushanyan.
Former Governor Mushegh Muradyan resigned from the post last week. Former MP from the ruling Civil Contract Party quit the parliament earlier this month.
