A military band and a guard of honor were at the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran to welcome the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan.
The national anthems of both countries were played.
Ahead of the official ceremony, Suren Papikyan laid a wreath and paid homage at the monument dedicated to Iranian soldiers who fell in war.
