Armenia, Greece sign deal on military-technical cooperation

On an official visit to Greece, Armenian Foreign Minister Suren Papikyan laid a wreath at the monument of the Unknown Soldier in front of the country’s Parliament.

After an official welcome ceremony, e ceremony, the Armenian and Greek Defense Ministers Suren Papikyan and Nikolaos Dendias discussed issues related to bilateral defense cooperation.

The parties emphasized the considerable potential for the development of cooperative and, consequently, reached an agreement to intensify interaction across various dimensions, including military-technical engagements, exchange of experience, educational initiatives, training programs, tactical training, etc.

The Defense Ministers of the two countries signed the an Agreement “On Military-Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Hellenic Republic”.

Suren Papikyan and Nikolaos Dendias then issued a joint statement to the press.
