Estonian FM pledges to start the process of recognition of Armenian Genocide by Parliament

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna will start the process of recognition of the Armenian Genocide. He made the announcement at a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan.

“On a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan I emphasized that it’s Estonian debt to Armenia that we haven’t recognized genocide against Armenian people and I will start the process in Estonian parliament,” Minister Tsahkna said in a post on X after the meeting.

“It is important to continuously talk about crimes against humanity, genocides. Otherwise, everything will be repeated,” Margus Tsahkna said at a joint press conference with the Armenian FM.
