With the blessings of the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the Baltic States His Grace Bishop Vardan Navasardyan, “Karabet Babayan” Foundation for Armenian studies was established at Vilnius University with the support of the Chairman of the Diocesan Council of the Baltic States Dr. Karapet Babayan.
On 30th of October an agreement was signed between President of the Vilnius University Rimvydas Petrauskas and founder of the Foundation.
During the meeting, reference was made to the work of former Armenian Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan, as a result of which this cooperation became possible.
