President Armen Sarkissian arrived at the Republic Square, where thousands rally against Serzh Sargsyan’s election as Prime Minister.
President Sarkissian had a brief conversation with opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan.
Asked whether the negotiations would continue, the President said “I hope so.”
He provided no further details about the conversation.
