“Hrachya Harutyunyan’s extradition to Armenia is possible under the conventions on extradition of convicts only after the relevant court of the Russian Federation returns a verdict of guilty and after the sentence enters into force,” the Armenian Ministry of Justice said in a statement.
Thus, according to the Ministry, the international conventions are not applicable to Hrachya Harutyunyan at this point.
