Armenia welcomes the agreement on the resumption of talks on Cyprus, Spokesman for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tigran Balayan said in comments to Times.am.
“We welcome the agreement reached between the President of the Republic of Cyprus and the Turkish Cypriot leader to resume negations on the settlement of the Cyprus issue under the auspices of the UN,” he said.
“We share the expectations of the international community regarding a lasting, fair and mutually acceptable solution,” Tigran Balayan added.
